3 THINGS TUESDAY: BALLOONS 'N MORE

Yes, I missed Tuesday. I meant to post this but it really helps to preset your post if you actually want it to go...

Our last awesome vendor is BALLOONS 'N MORE, where you can get those gorgeous giant round balloons. They have the best prices I have found...and did you know they sell balloons that are 8 ft?  Can you imagine? Keep small pets and children away from that photo op. I wonder how many of those little helium tanks it takes to fill that up.  For the record, the small tank will do a bunch of little balloons (enough for garland) and 6 large round ones.

They also sell giant number balloons which I love.  I just adore this picture from my inspiration file, number balloons from OH JOY! They also have letters!

They have hearts, giant hearts too! Speaking of hearts...I found this source while reading YOU ARE MY FAVE a while back.  I heart Melanie!

3 THINGS TUESDAY: PARTY CHEAP

I love this store.  PARTY CHEAP is truly cheap and peppy. They have their images copyrighted and while I think it's okay, when I go to get the photos it gives me an angry little note...so this will be a text only post. I figured I'll just link to some of the cool stuff I like.

Confetti, anyone?
ARCADE CONFETTI
FANCY-FETTI DOTS {insert Kate Spade moment here}
MULTI-COLOR ART TISSUE CONFETTI
SERPENTINES {the little strips for throwing}

Precut Tissue Fringe...aka heaven.
TISSUE FRINGE DRAPE {make an easy fringe background}
ART TISSUE FESTOONING {aka garland, remember keywords to search later}

OMG...Oh...my...garland
ARCADE GARLAND
TISSUE LEAF GARLAND
PAGENT GARLAND
DROP FRINGE GARLAND {I think this could be used super pretty}
BUNTING {in a few colors}
INDOOR/OUTDOOR PENNANT FLAGS {yep, plastic...but if the background is blurred & outside}

and...honeycomb balls, individually priced.
ART TISSUE BALL

Ok...I could go on an on...great prices, and a pretty decent color selection. They have way too much stuff to list.  I would start HERE and browse your little heart out. All of the sources today are worth a bookmark.

3 THINGS TUESDAY: DEVRA PARTY CORP.

Hi everyone! Today for our 3 THINGS TUESDAY I am bringing out the big guns and sharing some super sources for party decor.  These are all those little lovely hanging and tissue paper decor treats that only seem to be in a few colors here and there. So, I'm giving away secrets...well, not really because you could have found them with a good keyword search on Google. I'm just saving you the effort.

First up, this one I just found last week, DEVRA PARTY CORP.  Devra has all those lovely little honeycomb balls and paper fans in gorgeous colors.  The site is super easy to search and you can sort by color.  The prices are great...and sell by the dozen.

HONEYCOMB SHEETS? They sell honeycomb tissue paper pads that you cut your design out of and then open to create a 3D thing of awesomeness...I'm seeing cupcake toppers dance in my head. My lovely DIY darlings...ready, set, GO! Let's see how awesome we can make this stuff.

Super Source: SWEET LULU

Oh heaven...it's been a bit since I've cruised the pages of SWEET LULU...but oh my! I love how this little lady finds goodies that you just can't get ANYWHERE else.  See this?  OMG its freakin' CHEVRON!!

DIAGONAL Stripes??? Ooooohhhhhhh! It's taking everything I have not to order some because I am moving and already have two boxes full of party goodies...but it's sooooo hard...

Gorgeous little candles, short and tall. Swoon!

I just love this site. Pretty little flags, precut, ready to assemble? Ever have one of those ideas, and then BOOM there it is? Fabulous.                                                          ...and SPORKS??? Yes, please!

Pretty as a Picnic

I'm in love with gingham and these gorgeous little napkins that you tear off a roll...now in a pretty simple plain red check.  The best part is they are made of fabric so you can wash them and use them over and over. How perfect for a picnic would a little savory pie be served with some sweet tea?
I found them at one of my favorite sites to browse from the UK, Cox and Cox, which is full of lovely things. I've had picnics on the brain all week because of Chris over on Postcards and Pretties.  She has been having an entire week devoted to picnic inspiration and I am just dying! You have to go see it NOW.

PS if anyone knows where to find these napkins stateside, let me know! I am collecting goodies for a picnic basket.

Goodie, Goodie Garland...

 Happy St. Patrick's Day! As I was searching for some lovely little green garland to post today, I found this darling felt treat. I really like the clean modern fringe of this. But as always with my searches, I find more goodies...

How cute is this garland? Can you imagine the different color combinations? How pretty would all cream or white look in a tree with lights on a summer evening?  I love how the tulle makes a color-burst explosion.

I am a firm believer that materials make a typical item, say a party item, above and beyond amazing.  This adorable little shop SHORTCAKE offers pom pom garlands, wands (eek! I need a little girl) and picks made of tulle.  (personally dying over peach tones lately)

It's one of those wonderful goodies that just makes me happy. I am always amazed at the creativity that pops out of Etsy, and this lovely little shop is a perfect example. Loving the black...

Write On...

I'm just loving this amazing tablecloth you can write on.   Oh yeah, the kids can, too.  Just scribble your little hearts out and then wash it away.  All those cute little library receptions and parties going around...cover your dessert table with this and label away.

Super Source - Bake it Pretty

In case you missed it, Bake it Pretty, one of my personal favorites/main source for cupcake-wares and goodies, has launched their brand NEW website and they have even more GOODIES.

The most fabulous part??? Not only do they still carry a slew of cupcake papers, cookie cutters and sprinkles...they carry party supplies. Before there were tidbits, but now they carry TONS.  There are more colors for festooning, which I just purchased in a bunch of colors and am seriously dying over.

A huge selection of twistie-ties - in a myriad of colors, people - seriously. A mega assortment of perfectly round balloons and fabulous hanging decor in the new Celebration Supplies section.

It is the largest selection of party AND baking wares (in all the necessary colors, aka the awesome ones you want) that I have ever seen in one place.  Second best thing??? You can create an account and create WISHLISTS. Yes, that's plural.  One for each party, holiday, color. WOO HOO! Party planners and list makers rejoice!

Kuddos to Amanda and her team and wishing you best of luck! Go check Bake it Pretty out now.

Have a Meri Meri Birthday

I got an email this morning from Amy of make it mine parties, I swear Amy has the cutest taste in little party wares.  So, all she had to do was mention she had NEW items and ::BOOM:: I was screen shopping, oogling as always, and then I came across this lovely...

Isn't it gorgeous?  I want it.  I have three parties (baby Harry, Henry and Ed) coming up just before this baby comes out on March 15th.  I am this close to sending an email to Ok,I just did send one to Meri Meri to see if I can grab one (or two) just so I can plan a party around the colors.  So cute.  Just a little bit of random adorable I wanted to share. WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY - Wishing Tree

Happy WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY! This week is short and sweet. Today's treat is this little lovely Wishing Tree I found at hello hanna. I'm in love with the whole idea of wishing and think this pretty tree would be perfect at an upcoming baby shower.

I just love these little wishing birds, too.

Happy Bunting...Hunting for Bunting...Wide World of Bunting...

I’m feeling fun and colorful today. What a wonderful week. My shop is up and running with goodies still to come. We’re gonna have some lovely packages available soon! I promise. Happy days!

That little garland up there, well, I have a new type of garland up in the shop...FRINGE.

 I figured I must not be the only one with new designs around and  it has been a while,so off I went to my favorite mall...Etsy.  Well, not technically a mall, it is a shopping center of handmade lovelies, and I could browse for hours...and its the first place I go when looking for a present or party goodie.

Happy Monday and Half Birthday Party

All this flitting around the internet looking for party supplies had me longing for a party. Alas, the next birthday is months away, but there is a little man named Harry who will be turning the ripe old age of 6 months shortly.  When my minimen were little, I thought of celebrating six months, but as a new mom and then a mom of a toddler and a newbie, I had no time or energy to bake, let alone throw a party.  So this will be perfect, Auntie A - close your eyes, its gonna be a surprise.  I am finishing up on the details for "Happy Half Birthday Harry", and boy is it gonna be cute.  Since this isn't a full blown birthday, just a fun moment to remember in baby's life, it will be simple and easy.  Just a reason for the family to get together and enjoy Harry together.

I want to show you how you can throw something cute together in an instant.  Honestly, everything started less than a week ago. With this lovely from Rifle Paper Co.

Add a few colored party goodies from HeyYoYo

More ideas, just a little play on the half theme.

The 1/2 pic above is going on the cake and a onesie. We'll have a cute dot backdrop in the card colors.

Since Harry just started his delicious adventure with purees, the food is for the grown ups. We'll serve mini cupcakes, half sandwiches, madelines half dipped in chocolate, apple slices and the cake.  I am taking half of a two layer round cake and setting it on its side,  like a rainbow shape.

OK. That's all the hints for now. Preview is over, I've said too much. Party to come soon.
